Ukee Days is Ucluelet's summer celebration. For more than 50 years Ukee Days has brought music, games and all the charm of a small-town fair to the end of the road. A Friday evening barbeque and gumboot toss competition in the village green kick the weekend off. Saturday morning, after a pancake breakfast at the Ucluelet Community Center, the parade starts at 10am luring people down Peninsula to the Seaplane Base Rec Hall and field. That's where thing get serious(ly fun)! A full day of live music, talent shows, rides, snacks, logger sports, and refreshing beverages carries on into the night. Sunday, usually a little rough around the edges we return to for more music and games with the final event, the Nail, Sail and Bail taking place at the boat launch as the fairgrounds close.
For the last few years I've been asked to be the official event photographer so I'll be taking in the festivities all weekend. Here are some videos I've made in the past that highlight some of the events!

This one has a segment in the middle about the Ukee Days Baby Crawl Race but it's mostly about another great local event, the Soapbox Derby
