Tofino Wine and Dine (First Weekend in June)

Tofino Wine and Dine is the recent revival or maybe even tribute to the long running Tofino Food and Wine Festival. When my wife and I got married in 2010 we chose to get married in early June for a few reasons. One of them was to have the original Tofino Food and Wine Festival's "Grazing in The Gardens" event fall near our wedding and, subsequently, our anniversary. It turned out to be a great plan but, as the years went by, the original Tofino Food and Wine Festival faded and eventually disappeared.
A few years ago a handful of locals connected to the events and F&B industry in Tofino created a new, similar festival in Tofino Wine and Dine. Conveniently, it's still in the first week of June and lines up with our anniversary.
The event features 2 days of wine and food, as well as other culinary delights, entertainment and good times on the lawn at Tin Wis Resort, right by the beach!
From a Ucluelet perspective, I'm looking forward to attending this year with my wife, using the relatively new transit program that will allow us to attend and leave our car at home, taking a bus for only $5 per person each way.
